The latest recording by Irina Medjieva, who continues her productive activities on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of her Japan concert debut of German Romantic works, including Berg, Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms. This album of German and Austrian Romantic works begins with Alban Berg's Piano Sonata (Op.1), followed by Schubert's lovely A major Sonata (D.664), also associated with Vienna, Schumann's little-known masterpiece "Allegro" and the young Brahms' masterpiece "4 Ballades.
