The Rolling Stones of Denmark! The year was 1964, and Denmark was experiencing a boom in beat groups, with the appearance of The Hitmakers, The Defenders, Sir Henry and His Butlers, and others. These beat music was called Pigtradsmusik (Pigtradsmusik? (Pigtradsmusik?), which was a frenzy among the young people. A non-alcoholic dance club, Hit House, opened in Copenhagen and quickly became a gathering place for teenagers and other young people.
