Description:
In his later years, Bach pursued new keyboard instruments and musical expression that would lead to the future. In this disc, the harpsichord concerto is performed on a Zilberman fortepiano, one of the earliest pianos in the world, to convey the message of Bach's transitional period to the piano. In addition, the "Concerto for Two Harpsichords" featuring a pedal harpsichord and a Zilberman piano is a groundbreaking experiment, the first of its kind in the world. Here is the challenge of "Harmonia Inventor," a group consisting of Genzo Takehisa and up-and-coming young artists who live in the future of Bach. ALM RECORDS/Kojima Recording
