Gorgeous sterling silver bird in a heart brooch. The brooch is stamped sterling on the back.

This motif was designed by Arno Malinowski for Georg Jensen in the 1940's. The American jewellery company Coro produced pieces heavily influenced by or copies of Jensen's pieces in the 1940's and 1950's and it is likely this brooch is one such piece.
