A superb Hardy Salmon Wide Spool Perfect in 3 3/4" size with a nickel silver line guard. Interwar period reel sold through Iver Johnson Sporting Goods in Boston. Excellent condition overall with much of the patina intact and a nice, full length foot (just about the only quibble with this reel is that the screw head is slightly chewy but it is in fantastic shape otherwise). Tight mechanically and this reel also has the oversized pawls which give it a stronger-than-normal drag. In fact, I don't often think about fishing perfects on big-fish salmon rivers but I think this reel would be an exception. This reel belongs on a nice two-handed rod to chase steelhead or salmon once again!
