For Nearly All Flat Glass Applications

Our universal power window conversion kit will work for many classic car and many custom applications that use flat glass windows, but to make sure our kit will fit your vehicle, here are the important dimensions:  

• Glass must extend down into door minimum of this 1-1/2” for attachment to the regulator. If current glass is too short, new glass will need to be sourced at a local shop.
• Tempered glass is highly recommended as it’s both safer and stronger than normal glass
• 16” straight up and down travel
• Must have a minimum of 1” clearance between glass and door to mount regulator
• Tracks measure 20” long x 1-3/8” wide
• Motor measures 5” wide x 6-1/4” long
• Kit has overall depth of 2-3/8”
• Recommended available depth in door cavity of 2-1/2”
• Must have a minimum 7” below the glass when the window is at its lowest position
