When inspecting, be sure to look for rips, tears, holes, punctures, embedded wire, ozone cutting, and chemical deterioration. Should any of these be evident, remove the blanket from service. If additional information is needed, please review ASTM F1236, Standard Guide for visual inspection of electrical protective rubber products.
