Die Hänger wurde in Berlin von RITA IN PALMA gefertigt in der aufwendigen Mekik Technik. Sie bestehen aus unzähligen kleinen Knoten, die aneinandergereiht eine filigran strukturierte Oberfläche ergeben.
Jedes einzelne handgefertigte Haute Couture-Stück zeugt von einer enormen Liebe zum Detail und hingebungsvoller Handwerkskunst. 
RITA IN PALMA ist das erste Label, das High-Fashion-Designs mit integrativer Arbeit verbindet. Viele der Künstlerinnen haben Flucht- oder Migrationserfahrung. Manche haben lange Zeit keinen Zugang zum Arbeitsmarkt gehabt. Doch was sie mitbringen, ist unbezahlbar: fast vergessene Häkel- und Knüpftechniken – fein, filigran und vom Aussterben bedroht.
Das Label nutzt ihr Talent, um einzigartige Produkte herzustellen, und bietet den Frauen im Gegenzug einen gut bezahlten Job und damit einen Weg aus der Langzeitarbeitslosigkeit.

The LITTLE MAYA floral earrings are available in various colors and with sparkling SWAROVSKI® crystals. The floral design makes them the perfect accessory for special occasions or everyday wear. Lightweight and comfortable to wear, these earrings are guaranteed to become your new favorite piece. 
The pendants were made in Berlin by RITA IN PALMA using the elaborate Mekik technique. They consist of countless small knots that, when strung together, create a filigree structured surface.
Each individual handmade haute couture piece is testament to an enormous attention to detail and dedicated craftsmanship. 
RITA IN PALMA is the first label to combine high-fashion designs with inclusive work. Many of the artists have experience of flight or migration. Some have had no access to the labor market for a long time. But what they bring to the table is priceless: almost forgotten crochet and knotting techniques – delicate, filigree, and threatened with extinction.
The label uses their talent to create unique products and, in return, offers the women a well-paid job and thus a way out of long-term unemployment.
