British high-end label Bramel designed this dress in the 1950s or very early 1960s. A graceful V-neckline and wide shoulders at the front and back is highly flattering. Black lace sits under tonal satin appliquéd botanical forms and pretty beaded flowers. A hidden black zip secures the rear, with a vent in the hem to allow easy movement despite the form-fitting silhouette. The dress is exceptionally well made and separately lined in a high quality rayon blend. It will fall to knee length or just below and fit a range of sizes up to UK 12 or US 8. Excellent vintage condition, save for a small degree of shine in places to the satin a.k.a 'iron shine'. Not noticeable when the dress is worn. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11in (180 cm) and this dress fit her well.
