This vintage sterling silver brooch/pendant, crafted by renowned Norwegian silversmith David Andersen, is a reimagined version of authentic Viking jewelry. Part of Andersen's limited-edition Saga series, it features a Viking figure, recast from an original Viking design dating back to around 800 AD. The piece, which can be worn as a brooch or pendant is signed and hallmarked on the underside, with the marking indicating it is a copy of an original piece from the Viking period. Made in Norway in the 1960s, this timeless piece reflects Andersen's homage to Norway’s Viking heritage.
