This decadent Chanel bracelet was created between 1980-1983, just prior to Karl Lagerfeld's arrival at the fashion House. Plated with 24 carat gold, seven charms fall from the triple-layered chain of this bracelet. We see two embossed silhouettes of founder 'Coco' Chanel, Chanel logo lettering as a repetitive motif across oval, diamond and circular charms, and one large charm formed from two elaborately detailed, interlinked rings. The bracelet is secured with a spring ring clasp. The largest diamond charm is clipped onto this clasp with an intricately carved ring, and is detailed with a circular stamp debossed with Chanel brand name, iconic double-C insignia and “Made in France”.

Early Chanel jewellery has become highly collectable, particularly the pieces from this era which feature many of the house's most recognisable design icons. The bracelet is in very good vintage condition with a small amount of gold plating loss on the inner group of circular rings within the chain link formation. This is not apparent when the bracelet is being worn. Will come packaged in a newer Chanel black and white gift box.
