This chic Balenciaga black dress is from the Fall 2015 collection and was designed by Alexander Wang. Tailored from smooth, bouncy neoprene, it is cut to a relaxed, sleeveless style with a rounded neckline. The silhouette is cocooning and draws on silhouettes innovated by the brand’s namesake founder, updating them with a streetwear feel for the 21st century. The neckline is rounded like that of a t-shirt and it has sleeveless, tank-top style arms. The front of the dress is draped in a fold-over manner and pinned with an elaborate, large brooch pin which slots between two silver-tone rivets. These pins were referenced many times on the runway looks and it is crafted from silver-tone metal and adorned at the top with a large faux pearl surrounded by silver petals - a refined detail that elevates this casual silhouette to Balenciaga-level opulence. This dress is unlined.

In excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. The composition label states that it is 96% Polyester, 4% Elastane. It is labelled an XS and the fabric has some stretch on the below measurements. Our model is a UK 6 US 0-2 and 5'11". This dress fit her well with some flexibility around the waist.
