This PRP-built Powerglide “Super Glide” Shorty gearbox is a fully built, race-spec transmission designed specifically for use with the PRP Powerglide Transmission Conversion Kit for Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, R33 and R34 platforms.

Built around a Reid 2-piece case, this Powerglide features a comprehensive list of billet and heavy-duty internal components to ensure reliability, consistency, and strength in high-performance drag and track applications. The shorty configuration is required to suit the PRP GT-R adaptor system and transfer case integration.

When paired with PRP’s GT-R–specific bellhousing and adaptor components, the gearbox housing incorporates reliefs for the GT-R transmission tunnel, eliminating the need for hammering or modifying the factory tunnel during installation.

This transmission is intended for serious performance builds where durability, repeatability, and clean installation are critical.
