Yves Saint Laurent rose print dress from the Autumn/Winter 1994/95 collection. Made in France, and with the 'Rive Gauche' ready to wear label, it features a wide ruffled neckline, which can sit both on and off the shoulder for a romantic, almost Pre-Raphaelite feel. The material is a very fine, black wool with a crimson rose and green leaf print, perfect for the darker colour palettes of the autumn season. Though unlined, the fabric is opaque enough to not require a slip underneath. The sleeves are gathered slightly at the shoulder and fall in a balloon shape, narrowing at the wrist with an elasticated ruffle cuff. The main body of the dress is cut in a loose, flowing shape, and includes lovely deep pockets on both the left and right hand sides. The hem is trimmed once again with the same ruffle detail as the neckline and sleeves, falling to just below the knee.

The dress is in immaculate condition, with no visible stains or flaws. Although labelled a 44 (usually a UK 12-14), due to its generous, swing like silhouette, it would best fit anywhere from a 12-16 UK, or 8-12 US, depending on desired fit.
