This red tulle dress debuted on the runway as Look 72 in Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2019 collection, Eleganza. The show was structured in chapters, each celebrating a defining code from the house’s near four decades of design. This romantic piece embodies many Dolce & Gabbana signatures: cut from a double layer of lipstick-red stretch-tulle, it is ruched throughout to sculpt and flatter the figure. Long, sheer sleeves finish just below the elbows, offering a delicate glimpse of skin, while the fully boned, corseted bodice cinches the waist and amplifies the bust - a signature of the brand’s sultry tailoring. Beneath, a silk-satin slip in matching red conceals a built-in bra top, its thick straps are subtly visible through the tulle, heightening the underwear-as-outerwear aesthetic that the brand is known for. The slip fastens with a hidden red tonal zip whilst the dress fastens with a hidden silver-tone metal zip at the back.

In excellent condition and worn just once to a private event. The dress is composed of 49% Cotton; 27% Polyamide, 24% Elastane and the slip is 94% Silk, 6% Elastane. Labelled an Italian size 36, UK 6 or US 0-2, it is true to size.
