Absolutely beautiful vintage 1930's black dress! How lovely would this be at your next evening out? I could see it with a hat, some gloves, and the perfect shoes.

Features two bow shaped beaded appliques - one on the right shoulder area, and one on the left waist/hip area. There is gorgeous pleating falling from the left applique, adding a little bit of drama.

Metal zipper at back collar.

Side metal Talon Zipper (may have been added later, I do not think this was original to the dress).

3/4 sleeves with seams at the elbows.

No tags, so I can not be 100% sure of the fabric, but it feels like crepe, possibly a rayon. There is no stretch to this dress.

This dress is in good vintage condition. It does have some issues.

-Some seams are coming loose. Most are intact, but, personally, I would suggest reinforcing all, if not most, of the seams.

-There is a hole in the front of the dress on the left side of the tummy area - see photo. It's about 1/2" in diameter. There is also a smaller hole near it, you can also see it in the photo.

-There is some fading at the collar, and a light colored stain near the collar in the front. Please see photo.

-Armpits do have some wear in the fabric, and some seam separation.

-Some separation at the hem.

The list seems long, but most of these issues can be easily repaired with some time and love. As a dress that is 80-90 years old, it really has done well over the years. You can tell it was lovingly worn by its previous owner.
