1990s Thierry Mugler Royal blue wool blazer jacket where architectural detailing abounds in the construction. Tailored to the defined contours that the designer became known for, this cocktail jacket draws in the waist and adds volume around the hips, emphasising and highlighting the feminine figure - a silhouette instantly recognisable to those in the know. A single snap closure secures the front and is adorned with a triangular decorative piece smothered in circular and triangular rhinestones. Each cuff is finished with a miniature piece that echoes this centrepiece. The famous angles of Mugler’s silhouettes are echoed in the construction of the two angular welt pockets. The pale blue label reads “Thierry Mugler Paris”

Dating back nearly 40 years, this piece is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. The label reads 100% Wool and is labelled a French 38, UK 10 or US 6, but vintage brand sizes vary so please check our measurements closely below. This piece has no stretch to it. Our model (5ft 4in / 163cm) is a size UK 6-8 and we had to pin this jacket in the back. We estimate a good fit therefore for a UK 8-10 or US 4-6.
