髙橋のコレクションの1930年代のスポーツジャケットに使用されていた「TWEEDUROY」を再現した素材を使用。「TWEEDUROY」とはコーデュロイにプリントを施し、ウールのツイードに似せた生地のことで、主に少年用の服や学生服に使用された。ウールの生地よりも耐久性があったという理由から開発されたと思われる。この独特な生地はマサチューセッツ州のHockmeyer社が生み出したもので、時代が経つにつれて大人用の服にも採用されていた。当時流行だったコサックジャケットがベースになっている少年用のジャケットを既存のディテールを尊重しながら大人でも着られるようなバランス感で再設計した。
