Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage, where history meets style. Our curated collection breathes new life into vintage and antique clothing, allowing each piece to continue its story with you. We invite you to be a part of this journey—cherish these treasures, wear them with pride, and keep history alive.

A breathtaking Edwardian white tea dress, crafted in fine semi-sheer cotton lawn and trimmed with tiers of delicate lace. This romantic piece dates to around 1910–1918, when women’s daywear shifted from the structured S-bend silhouettes of the early 1900s to the soft, flowing elegance of the pre-1920s years.

This is what was known at the time as a tea dress or lingerie dress — a garment meant for afternoon teas, garden parties, and leisurely summer occasions. Worn for elegant at-home gatherings or informal daytime outings, these dresses were the embodiment of feminine grace: light, airy, and exquisitely detailed.

The design features five cascading skirt tiers edged in lace, a lace-trimmed high neckline, and half sleeves finished with inset lace cuffs. The waist gathers softly for shape, giving the dress its signature ethereal drape. Entirely hand-sewn and finished, with small back buttons and delicate pintucks at the shoulders, this is a rare example of wearable Edwardian craftsmanship.

Despite its age, it remains beautifully strong and wearable — a collector’s dream that feels impossibly modern styled with minimalist accessories or layered over a silk slip.

PLEASE CHECK MEASUREMENTS BEFORE PURCHASE!

Vintage and antique clothing often differ from modern standardized sizes. Many were handmade for an individual, so sizing can vary. Instead of relying on a labeled size, compare the given measurements to a garment that fits you well. If you have any questions about fit, feel free to ask—I’m happy to help!

Condition and Care

• Vintage and antique items have been previously loved, so small imperfections may exist.

Hand-dyed pieces: Due to the nature of hand-dyeing, colors may not be perfectly even. Please wash these items delicately, preferably alone or with similar colors.

Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.

Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:

• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).

• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.

Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
