A romantic 1970s satin and lace gown, hand dyed in soft tonal lilac hues.

This full-length vintage gown features a delicate lace overlay bodice with scalloped edging, a sheer embroidered bust panel, and shoulder button details. The silhouette falls in a fluid A-line shape with a side tie belt that allows for subtle waist

The satin has been hand dyed to create a layered watercolor effect, ranging from pale lavender to deeper violet tones. The tonal variation enhances the natural drape of the fabric and gives the piece a soft, ethereal

Due to age, small areas of wear were present and have been carefully reinforced with hand-applied vintage lace appliqués in complementary tones. These restorations are subtle and integrated into the design, preserving the garment’s integrity while honoring its history.

Fabric: Soft vintage satin (fiber content not labeled; likely rayon or acetate) with lace overlay

Era: 1970s does 30s

Condition: Restored vintage condition with visible artistic lace reinforcements; structurally sound and wearable.

Any accessories used in the picture are not included, there are there to show how the outfit could be worn or a decorative object. I need to be honest. I sell Vintage and Antique Clothing and I would say anything before 30s should be treated with care and worn with care. Mostly these items will be fragile especially 20s silk or Edwardian very fine Muslin.  Some can not handle stress and will tear easily. Should be bought a size bigger where possible or should be a little loose on.
