Designer Notes:

The Nav Chowki layered dress is inspired by the Durga Chowki, traditionally painted in Aipan art. We've reimagined it by removing cultural elements and adding our own artistic twist, with the orchid in the center as the focal point. The dress features intricate hand embroidery with various Aipan-inspired stitches and designs. The embroidery begins at the center and flows into the straps, showcasing different hand-embroidery techniques to capture the essence of Aipan art.

Construction:

This is a relaxed, double-layered dress with a square neckline and off-the-shoulder, double-layered sleeves. It has a hidden Rouleau strap at the waist that can be tied at the back to create a cinched, fit-and-flare look or tied loosely for a more relaxed fit. The adjustable strap makes it easy to wear in different styles and adds a maternity-friendly option.

Crafted from AZO free dyed handloom Khadi Cotton, every garment in this collection is thoughtfully lined with Chambray Khadi. This breathable, durable, and biodegradable fabric not only ensures comfort but also reflects our commitment to sustainable fashion.

The Nav Chowki Dress is designed to fit true to size, with minimal stretch owing to the nature of handloom Khadi Cotton. Each piece features a 2-inch allowance, offering the flexibility to size up or down with ease. For the best fit, please follow the bust measurements.
