This stunning piece of wearable art is from the 1960s Renaissance line by Trifari. It features multiple gem-colored glass stones set stained glass style in a detailed teardrop or egg-shape setting. It dangles from lovely and long six-strand chain that is completed with a signed fold-over clasp and a ”T” symbol, for Trifari.

This sought after vintage necklace proudly displays enchanting jewel-tone glass cabochons, meticulously bezel-set to evoke the elegance of Maison Gripoix's famed poured glass artistry. Although these stones are moulded glass, their richness of color and shine fools the eye into wondering if they are in fact poured glass. The design is complimented with and makes its nod to the Renaissance era with the use of antiqued gold tone metal settings.

Though the chain and setting may have originally possessed a more golden hue, time has left it with a silvertone patina. The necklace remains in good condition, with mild fading in the goldtone finish. Nevertheless, the glass cabochons retain their splendid charm, appearing as beautiful as ever.
