This lovely piece is a remake of a pin that was given to Jacqueline Kennedy by her husband to celebrate the birth of their son, John F. Kennedy Jr.

The original piece was made of gold, platinum, rubies, and diamonds. The designer was Jean Schlumberger, Jeweler for Tiffany. The First Lady apparently wore the pin on Inauguration day as well as several other occasions. The berries were said to have represented the couple's two children.

This is the costume version of that pin and was made by Camrose and Kross who have a line of Jacqueline Kennedy jewelry that is made to resemble pieces from her collection.

This is a very nicely made piece with a lot of meaning behind it! It would make a great gift for the expecting mother or anyone who you share a special bond with.
