Come one, come all and feast your eyes on a pinball marvel that’s sure to amaze and delight players and fans of all ages as we introduce to you the “Eighth Wonder” topper for Stern’s King Kong!

Featuring iconic imagery and artwork that matches the game and a dynamic, interactive lighting experience that illuminates the city skyline as well as your gameroom. Rip those spinners and see an interactive spotlight light up Kong on top of the Empire State Building casting a cool strobing shadow effect onto your gameroom’s wall! 

The main attraction is undoubtedly the sculpted billboard structure that features an embedded 10-inch digital display and comes preloaded with 6 animated recreations of iconic King Kong movies posters. Owners will also have the ability to fully customize the display by adding any video footage they want to the included SD card making their topper a truly one-of-a-kind showcase!

For LE owners an additional upgrade package ($+50) is available that includes adding a mirror finish to key elements of the topper to match the game’s mirrored translight, and a custom billboard plaque that features the game’s LE number.

All toppers will feature the easiest installation process we’ve built to-date and can be installed in 3 easy steps using the game’s existing mount screws and power supply!

• 448 LEDs powered by the machine, designed to illuminate the city skyline and train, creating a complementary blue glow from the city and cool ambient light horizon behind your game 

• Backlit Empire State Building featuring King Kong artwork matching the game, and capturing Kong saving Ann while fighting off the biplanes

• Interactive spotlight tied to the game's spinners, casting a flashing strobe on King Kong when hit, as well as creating an ominous King Kong shadow on the wall behind the pinball machine. Also creates the same awesome lighting effect at the start of Kong Multiball and other modes.

• Sculpted billboard structure supporting a 10” digital LED display, simulating a scene out of downtown New York City in the original 1933 King Kong Classic, where Kong first destroyed the train tracks, grabbed Ann, and began his pursuit up the Empire State Building.

• The digital display features animated recreations of 6 classic King Kong Movie posters, ranging from 1933 to 2015, playing on a looping cycling.

• Leveraging the included SD card (2GB), add your own videos from classic King Kong movies to bring the magic of the silver screen to life on top of your game. Videos can be created by you, or found on a dedicated Pinside thread where community members can share their creations. Instructions for adding video here.

• Original artwork by Maria Keller, designed to complement the colors and visuals from the pinball machine.

• Add the LE package to include a mirror finish on King Kong, the train, and to have your LE# displayed on the billboard plaque. We’ll collect your LE# when we reach out for final payment.

• Install in 3 easy steps - secure it to the top of your game using the existing mount screws, plug in the power into the backbox of the game, connect the splitter to a lightboard underneath the playfield.
