Beautiful and timeless design.
All genuine leather exterior and leather interior. The leather was treated with a high quality conditioner when originally purchased so the leather is in incredible condition and feels buttery soft and pliable. They even have maintained their yummy leather scent.
Stacked heel.
Genuine leather soles have been professionally outfitted with a thick rubber sole layer in the front and back for more extended wear.
Stamped Joan & David, Handmade in Italy, and VERO CUOIO on the soles.
Also stamped Joan and David on the interior tongue and Made in Italy on the interior footbed.

Note: these are genuine vintage from the 90s when Joan & David shoes were all handmade by artisans in Italy. Sadly, the company was sold in 2000, and production after that was moved to China and their shoes are no longer hand made. These are originals from the 90s, with superior quality, and craftsmanship.
condition: Excellent vintage. Light surface wear, creases, a few minor scuffs. Tiny scuff on the right toe very very minor but we like to mention all. See up front and close pics/zoom. Soft, buttery leather so there is no stiffness. The interior is also all Italian soft leather and in beautiful condition. The laces are in excellent condition. Beautiful.

Fit: 5-5.5 Marked a size 6 but Joan and David boots tend to run a full to half size smaller. So you should fit a 5 or 5.5 comfortably.
