ALFA AWUS036ACM brings dual antenna 802.11ac technology to PCs at an affordable cost. It is a new dual antenna 867 Mbps Wi-Fi USB adapter compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10. It features two RP-SMA antenna ports, and two 5 dBi dual-band antennas. The antennas are detachable and can be upgraded.

This product is very similar to ALFA AWUS036AC but it has the Mediatek MT7612U chipset.

AWUS036ACM is capable of receiving and transmitting on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. With 802.11ac standard routers, AWUS036AC can achieve throughput speeds up to 867 Mbps. This adapter is backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11n networks, but an 802.11ac router is required for the maximum throughput.

This is brand new in retail box and includes the adapter, two 5 dBi dual-band antennas, driver CD.

Compatibility
It will work with any computer that has an available USB port and Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10, or Windows 11.

Linux: USB WiFi adapters based on the Mediatek mt7612u chipset, including the ALFA AWUS036ACM, have been supported in Linux with an in-kernel driver since Linux kernel v4.19, therefore, there is no need for driver installation. AP mode support on 5 GHz may require the use of a module parameter, "disable_usb_sg", for maximum performance.
