Crafted from solid-colour pressed glass, Sirkel – Norwegian for Circle – is a tea-light holder designed by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll. The design juxtaposes a delicate, almost crystalline base with a substantial, seemingly weightless ring of deeply saturated color. As light passes through the glass, the color's intensity subtly shifts, creating a captivating play of light and shadow and giving the impression of a solid, dense band. This seemingly simple form required four years of dedicated development to find the perfect glassworks. Whether illuminating a space with a flickering tea light or capturing the sun's rays on a windowsill, Sirkel offers a tactile and visual delight.
