Purple Chalice Linen Set with IHS embroidery

This liturgical set is a distinctive combination of deep purple fabric and exceptionally precise gold embroidery. The central element of the set is the pall, which draws attention with the classic IHS monogram surmounted by a cross. The initials are surrounded by rich gold ornamentation composed of vine leaves, wheat ears, and floral scrollwork. The embroidery decorating the pall covers almost the entire surface, extending to the elegant gold finish along the edges. What does the purple Chalice Linen Set include?

The set consists of four carefully finished elements, essential for the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass:

Chalice pall — approx. 17 × 17 cm, made from purple polyester with a protective coating. It stands out with elegant gold embroidery featuring a Eucharistic motif — IHS, vine, and wheat ears — and a wavy gold edging. Stiffened, it is used to reverently cover the chalice.

Corporal — approx. 47 × 47 cm, white, made from polyester with a stain-resistant coating. Decorated with gold IHS embroidery in the corners, with the edges finished with a subtle embroidered wave pattern. It forms the sacred space on the altar on which the chalice and paten rest.

Purificator — approx. 47 × 24 cm, sewn from highly absorbent white cotton. Decorated with an embroidered gold cross in the centre and a purple wavy border. Intended for the purification — wiping — of the liturgical vessels.

Lavabo towel — approx. 47 × 24 cm, made from cotton and visually matching the purificator, with a gold cross and purple finish. It is used to dry the priest’s hands during the lavabo rite.
