ADVANCED NETWORK MONITORING CAPABILITIES

The PDUMNH30 gives IT personnel enhanced oversight of network power conditions. It remotely monitors site power conditions and PDU load levels, and supports notification and logging of all major power events and user-specified alarm thresholds via email or SNMP traps. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered. Used with Tripp Lite's optional ENVIROSENSE sensor, the PDUMNH30 can also remotely monitor temperature/humidity conditions plus up to four Tripp Lite SRSWITCH magnetic door switches or dry contact interfaces for alarm, security and telecom devices. These capabilities simplify and streamline the task of network power management.

BUILT-IN NETWORK INTERFACE WITH BROAD COMPATIBILITY

The PDUMNH30 features a built-in SNMPWEBCARD that enables full remote power monitoring via a secure network or web browser interface. The PDUMNH30 provides 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimal communication compatibility with a 10/100 Base-T network. Protocols supported include HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, Telnet, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration support provides the ability to have network settings automatically assigned to the card, or manually assigned via permanent IP addresses.

SEQUENTIALLY ACTIVATED OUTLETS

The PDUMNH30's sixteen 5-15/20R outlets are arranged in two eight-outlet load banks, each with its own 20A circuit breaker. To prevent inrush-related equipment interaction at startup, the outlets are factory-programmed for sequential activation at 250-millisecond intervals when the PDUMNH30 is energized.

DIGITAL CURRENT METER

The PDUMNH30 is equipped with a digital LED meter that enables IT personnel to monitor the load on the PDU at the rack in real time. This meter helps to assure that the PDU is used at maximum capacity with no danger of overload. A toggle switch enables the meter to display the load on either eight-outlet load bank or the total load on the PDU.

OPTIMIZED FOR DEMANDING APPLICATIONS

The PDUMNH30 is designed for reliable distribution of AC power to supported equipment in IT, industrial and similar applications. It features a rugged all-metal case, high-quality outlets, a 20A circuit breaker and a switchless design with included cord retention brackets to prevent accidental shutoff. The PDUMNH30 can be configured for 2U rackmount installation with included hardware, making it easy to integrate with a wide range of data center and network applications.
