Working on your sound, articulation, and dynamic contrast is much easier with the Jazzlab Deflector since you hear yourself much better. I've started using this at rehearsals and it is helping me out massively! It gives just enough feedback that you are able to hear yourself without having to play as loud as you possibly can (even when competing against drums and electric guitars!) This way you can put more effort into working on the stuff that matters most. Such as good tone, articulation, and tuning (not to mention actually playing the right notes!). It does take a little trial and error to find the right position, but once you find the "sweet spot" it is quite noticeable how much of an effect it has.
