Meet the all-new iPad Air, powered by the Apple M3 chip, the iPad Air includes an 8-core CPU (with four performance and four efficiency cores), a 9-core GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and a 16-core Neural Engine, along with 8GB of RAM.

The 11-inch Liquid Retina display uses LED backlighting with IPS technology, featuring a resolution of 2360-by-1640 pixels at 264 ppi. It supports wide colour (P3), True Tone, and is fully laminated with fingerprint-resistant and anti-reflective coatings. With 500 nits of brightness, it supports Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB‑C), and Apple Pencil hover. The display has rounded corners and, when measured diagonally, is 10.86 inches, although the actual viewable area is slightly less.

For the Wi-Fi model, the dimensions are: 178.5 mm (7.02 inches) wide, 247.6 mm (9.74 inches) tall, and 6.1 mm (0.24 inch) thick. Each model weighs 460 grams (1.01 pounds), ensuring a lightweight and portable experience.

The iPad Air features a Top button with Touch ID, volume buttons, a front and rear camera, dual microphones, a Smart Connector, USB-C connector, and a magnetic connector for Apple Pencil.

The media engine enables hardware-accelerated support for 8K HEVC, 4K H.264, ProRes, and ProRes RAW formats. It includes video decode and encode engines, a ProRes engine, and AV1 decode support.

The rear camera is a 12MP Wide lens with an ƒ/1.8 aperture. It features 5x digital zoom, a five-element lens, Smart HDR 4, photo geotagging, burst mode, and auto image stabilization. Supported image formats are HEIF and JPEG.

Video recording capabilities include 4K at up to 60 fps, 1080p HD at up to 60 fps, and 720p HD at 30 fps. Features include slow motion, time-lapse with stabilization, extended dynamic range, cinematic stabilization, and continuous autofocus.

The front-facing 12MP Center Stage camera has an ƒ/2.0 aperture and supports Smart HDR 4, HD video up to 1080p, time-lapse, wide colour capture, lens correction, Retina Flash, and burst mode.

All models support Wi-Fi 6E with 2x2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3. Only eSIM is supported, offering more security and convenience for mobile data use. The iPad Air has landscape stereo speakers and dual microphones for clear audio during calls and recordings.

The iPad Air runs on iPadOS, which includes powerful features and apps designed specifically to enhance the iPad’s unique capabilities.
