Decapitation of an Evil Woman is Yuji Makiguchi's 1977 Toei pinky-violence period production, a fictionalized account of Takahashi Oden, the last woman in Japan to be executed by beheading in 1879. The film stars Termi Azuma in the lead with Goro Ibuki as the swordsman tasked with carrying out her execution. Released in January 1977 under the title 毒婦お伝と首斬り浅右衛門, it is one of the late entries in Toei's pinky-violence cycle of jidaigeki-tinged exploitation films. The B2 poster's painted composition pairs Ibuki's drawn blade with Azuma's bound figure against a snow-and-blood field, in keeping with the campaign's lurid visual register. A reference document for collectors of Toei pinky violence and 1970s exploitation jidaigeki.
