The bold “55” on the back symbolises 1955 - the year Sultan Mohammed V returned from exile, reigniting the spirit of independence across the country.

It marks the rebirth of a nation and the beginning of modern Moroccan identity.

The football influence is intentional.

In the 1950s, local football clubs became symbols of resistance and community during colonial occupation. Stadiums were more than sporting arenas — they were places where Moroccans gathered with one voice.

That same spirit lives today through the Morocco national football team, whose rise on the world stage represents generations of resilience, passion, and belief.
