This heavy duty and stitched harness leather bonnet tie down is used on horses that have a tendency to carry their poll high with their chins tucked behind the vertical position. These horses learn to hide behind a traditional noseband tie down and avoid contact. The bonnet tie down uses pressure in front of and behind the horse’s ears at the poll area to lower the head and regain control and contact.
