This is a very pretty 1980s dress in an abstract floral featuring tulips in teal and blue with rust and tan-colored leaves on a creamy white background with subtle, tone-on-tone polka dots. The fabric is lightweight, slightly sheer, and has a woven texture like linen, although it is a blend. The bodice has a nice pleated detail at the neck which adds fullness at the bust. The waist is elastic and there is a matching wide belt. The sleeves are slightly puffed at the shoulders and are meant to be worn with turned-up cuffs. The skirt is full and has a pocket in each side seam. The dress slides over the head and is closed with two buttons at the back of the neck. Made by Alison Peters. Excellent condition.
