This 1980s formal dress in silk jacquard is stunning! It is in the style of Edwardian dresses, with the embroidered lace, drop waist, and peplum. The lace is really exquisite, both in front and back, where it is backed by sheer organza, and at the hem. There are small covered buttons down the back. The sleeves are split in the center, cut n the bias and are very “fluttery”. This dress was designed by Digna Yero. It is in very good condition. I did find one spot – it’s on the front of the skirt, 7″ above the lace of the hem. It’s 1/8″ in diameter and light brown in color. I have pictured it. Size 8. Would be a lovely wedding dress or other special occasion dress.
