This 1980s suit is very lovely and special. The pale pink blush damask fabric is so feminine and soft. The stand-out feature of the suit is the incredible embellishment on the sleeves! They are covered with a sheer fabric with hand-sewn iridescent sequins and beads, creating gorgeous flowers, rosebuds and leaves. At the top of each sleeve is a golden metallic bow, edges with bugle beads and wired so it keeps it's shape. The flowers are sculptural, standing out from the fabric. The edge of the sleeves are scalloped and trimmed with alternating rows of sequins and beads. There are three large pearl clustered buttons with rhinestone centers in the shape of flowers.

It's in excellent condition. The jacket and skirt are fully lined. Made by Rickie Freeman for T. J. Nites. No fabric content label.
