Expressing a passion for handmade patterns, the Safi top is a collaboration with expert knitters. Each top is made by only one person, so the hand and crochet style is absolutely even. The palette is the basis for the DEL NORTE collection, a mixture of earthy tones wit blues and sunset oranges and reds.

Sustainability

Our cotton is locally sourced from the coastal region of Pisco, Peru, and it adheres to the highest fair-trade standards. Our supplier LA COLONIAL, is certified SGS ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and GOTS. We produce alongside associations of female artisans from different regions of Peru and we strive to keep contributing with education and opportunities to the empowering of women. ESCVDO believes in social and environmental responsibility. Our production and ways of working are aligned with the UN’s SDGs.

Who made your clothes?

This piece was made by Tejiendo Un Mañana, an initiative in Huaraz - Peru to train and empower women from rural and low income areas.
