This dress is a mixed-era "mash up". It's got elements of Victorian, Edwardian, 20s, and 30s eras. The silk is a very soft silk velvet. It has been embellished with jet beads on the bodice. The skirt has incredible hand beading in an abstract design. There is a band of velvet (not silk velvet) that was added to the bottom and underneath that is a wide satin pleated hem. There is a side metal zipper for closure. This is a unique gown that would be very fun the wear. It's in very good condition. No maker's labels.
