This 1950s wool jacket is made of a lovely purple wool tweed with black as a second color. It sports a cute peter pan collar and big round covered buttons. The narrow scarf, or tie, is attached at the shoulder seam just under the collar. The ends of the scarf are fringed. The jacket is slightly fitted, with bust darts. The buttonholes are very nicely made. It's fully lined with a pretty lavender color fabric that I believe is silk. It was a custom jacket and there are no labels. It's in wonderful condition. The only flaw to note is a small moth hole on the collar which is pictured. Very hard to detect.
