Description

An elegant and unique design, the SPONDYLUS scarf is soft to the touch. Handwoven in the pedal loom, the finishing is delicate and warm, and it features a mixture of colors in geometrical Inca inspired patterns. The fringes have not been added, but are part of the traditional loom finishing.

Sustainability

Alpaca wool is softer, lighter, and warmer than most other wools, and is considered the most eco-friendly fiber. No animals are harmed in the production process. This piece was made by Pedro Quincho and his collective of artisans in Huancavelica - Peru; the final piece was ensembled by Matilde Sánchez at the ESCVDO workshop in Lima - Peru
