Made from a thick, quality wool this oversized cardigan boasts a preppy argyle-ish pattern at the hemline of both the body and the sleeves. It also features a deep V-neckline, long sleeves, ribbed trims, and full button-front closure. Speaking of buttons…! The rare vintage silver buttons used feature teutonic eagle motifs surrounded by the motto “Spes Nostra Es Deus” which is Latin for, "God is our hope.” The top button is different and likely was replaced, but the size and color matches perfectly. This unisex MCM cardigan will make whatever you're wearing—whether it's a graphic tee, body con dress, or denim—feel a little more considered and dignified and just plain cool. It was previously owned by Joyce Kim Lee, an Emmy Award-winning Costume Designer, with more than 25 years of experience. She designed costumes for over 50 productions in theatre, opera, and dance and worked on over 30 tv and movie projects. This piece was from her costume collection and was used on set or stage….who knows what piece of Hollywood History this piece holds! It’s set tag inside notes that it came from a show “C.H.R” for Character or Actor “D. Parker” for the Role of “Draper’s Son”. There is no size tag but if fit’s like a men’s M or a women’s L-XL. Unless you want an oversized look, then it could work for women’s S-M as well.
