Place your SUV on a flat surface, ideally with your new, wider wheels already installed. If your truck is lifted, be sure to account for the added height. Begin by carefully aligning each fender flare with the factory fenders and body lines for a clean, seamless fit. To make positioning easier, you can temporarily secure the flares with adhesive tape. Mark the mounting hole locations, drill the necessary holes, and fasten the flares with screws. If your new wheels are significantly wider than stock or your suspension is modified, some trimming or cutting of the original fenders may be necessary to prevent rubbing or contact during off-road driving.

For installation, you may need: A drill, a screwdriver, an angle grinder, adhesive tape, and a marker. If you’ve exposed bare metal during sanding, it’s recommended to apply a coat of paint to those areas to prevent rust and ensure long-term durability.
