One of the most commonly used materials for exterior automotive parts. Known for its flexibility and impact resistance, ABS offers excellent durability and is tolerant to bending without cracking. In addition to its strength, this material is also lightweight, meaning it won't add unnecessary weight to your Nissan or affect its performance. You can rely on this ducktail to deliver long-lasting quality without compromising driving dynamics.
The trunk wing comes in a smooth black finish, making it ready to install and use as is – no painting required. Thanks to its built-in UV protection, the surface won’t fade or discolor over time, even with prolonged sun exposure. However, if you prefer a custom look, the spoiler can also be painted to match your vehicle's color or any other shade of your choice.

Originally developed for motorsport, spoilers were designed to manage airflow and improve a vehicle's aerodynamics at high speeds. By disrupting and redirecting air currents, a rear spoiler helps reduce lift and increase downforce, improving traction and stability—especially at the rear wheels. Of course, for a spoiler to fully serve its aerodynamic purpose, the vehicle must be traveling at relatively high speeds. That’s why spoilers were originally used exclusively in professional racing. However, since sports cars have always caught the eye of car enthusiasts, the spoiler quickly became a popular exterior styling element—even on everyday road cars.
Over time, this functional JDM style trunk element became popular in road cars - for its aggressive, sporty look. Today, a body parts like this ducktail design serves both purposes: enhancing your JDM driving dynamics and giving it a distinctive, race-inspired appearance. Since it's one of the simplest and most affordable ways to quickly enhance a car's appearance, spoilers have become a very popular aftermarket body modification. Their ease of installation and immediate visual impact make them a favorite among car enthusiasts looking to upgrade their vehicle without major investments.

The surface where you will mount the spoiler—specifically the rear trunk lid—must be clean and ready for work. First, degrease the surface where the spoiler will sit (you can use thinner, non-abrasive cleaner, or any other degreasing solution).
Next, place the spoiler on the rear trunk lid and ensure it is in the correct position, ensuring a good fit with the trunk surface. Once you have found the proper position, mark the edges or at least the corners with a pencil (this will help ensure the spoiler is placed correctly when you attach it).
Around the perimeter of the spoiler, apply double-sided tape or adhesive (depending on what you are using). Press the spoiler firmly into the correct position on the trunk lid and remove any excess adhesive with a cloth. You can also use screws /bolts for the installation, as this is a bolt-on style spoiler.
If using glue, you can temporarily secure the spoiler in place with tape until the adhesive fully cures.
