The Miller is a softly structured waistcoat with a boxy fit. Layer over long sleeve tops and sweaters in the winter, or wear on its own in the warmer months. The waistcoat features two welt pockets and a simple stitched belt at the back.

The Miller can be sewn as a traditional waistcoat with the main fabric in the front and the lining fabric on the outer back and inside. The waistcoat can also be sewn with the main fabric in the front and outer back, and with a lining fabric on the inside.

Recommended Fabrics: 5-8oz linen, 5-10oz denim, light – medium weight corduroy, wool, wool blends, cotton canvas or twill. For the lining: lightweight wovens such as calico, cotton lawn, cotton, cotton blends, tencel/linen (when choosing your cloth consider that the lining fabric may be visible).
