Originally these parts are made of magnesium. 

Over time these covers crack, especially at the mounting point, as you can see in the pictures. If you can find used ones, these are the same age and most often show cracks.

These new developed parts are made of very durable ABS, temperature resistant, lighter and even less expensive as a new one. We choose for satin black but you can paint them any color you like. 

So If you rebuild your engine or do a timing belt job, make sure you have these covers already in stock. Our stock is limited.
