This integrated interface is purpose‑built for modern presentation and conference environments where SMPTE ST 2110 IP infrastructure is required without the complexity of multiple adapters. It is designed specifically for speaker podiums and lecterns, combining video, audio and network connectivity into a single, compact unit. By centralising all presentation connections, it simplifies installation and ensures consistent signal handling in corporate, education, government and broadcast facilities.
Laptop connectivity is handled through dual USB‑C inputs located on the front and rear of the unit. These connections support both video and power delivery, allowing presenters to connect a computer with a single cable while receiving up to 45 W of charging. An additional HDMI input is provided for external sources, while the HDMI output for projectors or confidence monitors can be switched between the local video input and a SMPTE ST 2110 IP return feed. This makes it easy to preview or route content without changing cables.
For audio, the device includes two professional combination XLR and TRS inputs that can be switched between microphone and line level, with support for 48 V phantom power. This allows direct connection of podium microphones or wireless receivers without external mixers. Balanced XLR outputs are provided for connection to PA systems, and a dedicated 6.35 mm headphone output enables local monitoring. Audio is embedded into SDI, HDMI and IP outputs, ensuring consistent synchronisation across all signal paths.
Video and audio are converted to and from uncompressed SMPTE ST 2110 IP via a single 10 Gb Ethernet connection. This connection can also power the entire unit, even while charging a connected laptop, reducing the need for additional power supplies at the podium. An SDI output with automatic standards conversion is included, allowing easy integration with traditional broadcast equipment alongside IP‑based systems.
Support for a wide range of formats ensures long‑term compatibility. The unit handles HD, 2K, Ultra HD and DCI 4K standards up to 2160p60, with full support for embedded audio, metadata, timecode and closed captions. This makes it suitable for both live production and high‑end AV workflows where quality and reliability are critical.
