From the late Victorian or Edwardian era, a white on white embroidered blouse with daisies stitched on the front, back, and the lower portion of the leg o' mutton puffed sleeves. Another exquisite antique item from the Fleming estate. Please see annotated photos for additional information.

This blouse was likely intended for a teen or petite woman. Please see the garments measurements below, and compare them to your own to ensure it will fit.

Labels: none, only the handwritten name of the original owner on the interior collar

Fiber/Care: no tags, linen or a cotton/linen blend, gently washable

Condition: excellent, with only minor glitches, including those shown in the photo composite, a tiny hole (1mm) within the gathers at the lower bodice. we've stitched closed an inch-long open seam along the shoulder. Please note that this blouse currently has no closure mechanism. You'll need to add snaps or hooks&eyes or use brooches or safety pins at the back placket. Contact us if you'd like us to add closures for you for a nominal fee.

For reference: live model is a tall 9-year-old and the blouse fits her waist but is too big everywhere else. dress form Cecelia measures bust 33.5", waist 23", neck 14.25", and the blouse fits her bust/waist but won't close around her neck or broad upper back.
